Supporting Immigrants
Recent months have seen an uptick in anxiety and activity related to the safety and dignity of immigrants in Denver. DCC and Project Renew want to be a healing presence in this space and not forget to show hospitality to the stranger (Hebrews 13).
Go here for links to resources and helpful organizations around the city, and click the button below to see how Project Renew is responding.

Peacemaking Pathway
Begins March 16th | Sunday Nights
Over 7 weeks we will consider how to more fully engage as everyday peacemakers. Participants will explore how the work of making peace in both our inner and outer worlds are inextricably linked. Along the way, in both larger group discussions and small group contexts, we will participate in spiritual formation practices, begin to dig into identity and calling, consider practically how we might advocate for the marginalized, and pursue justice in our world.

Firearm Safe Surrender
Saturday, March 22nd from 10 to 12
DCC is serving as the host site for a firearm surrender event with our friends from Guns to Gardens. Whether you are a gun owner, a survivor of gun violence, or just have a desire to learn more about being a peacemaker in this space, volunteering at this event and the learning opportunities that come with it are a chance to explore, practice, and learn together.

COST: $450-$550 (based on number of participants). Participants will be responsible for their own airfare.

Apply for a Good Neighbor Grant
Did you know that you can now apply for a Good Neighbor Grant on behalf of someone in your life who is in need? These grants are small (max $750) but powerful ways to give a boost or bridge a gap. We prefer that these funds will match or accelerate the generosity that you are already involved in. Perhaps your neighbor is in need of a critical home repair, or a family at your kids school needs assistance with some fees. We can be creative about how we care for our neighbors.
